    Position Summary

    As a member of the care team, and in accordance with Covenant Care’s Mission, Vision, and Values, the Resident Care Supervisor, reporting to the Site Lead, is accountable for the overall management and care of the residents.  The Resident Care Supervisor collaborates with other members of the management and interdisciplinary care team in order to plan, implement and evaluate resident care.


    • Completion of a recognized Licensed Practical Nurses program required
    • Currently registered as a Licenced Practical Nurse with the CLPNA
    • BLS (Level C) Health Care Provider certification required
    • Bachelor’s degree in nursing, business, management or related area preferred
    • Dementia education an asset
    • 3-5 years of middle or senior management experience in a health care environment, preferably in Continuing Care and/or Designated Supportive Living
    • Ability to use excellent professional judgement and to act as a mentor and role model to all staff
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
